There are few better ways to spend a Bank Holiday Monday than by the sea—especially when the sun is shining and the dive kit is ready to go. This time, we headed up to Todhead Lighthouse, a well-known spot on the Scottish coast that never disappoints.
Torsten and Mark kitted up for a couple of dives, while Suzy took on shore cover duties, keeping everything running smoothly topside. With calm conditions and good visibility, it was shaping up to be a great day from the start.
Once in the water, the site really came alive. The steep walls were packed with marine life, offering plenty to see at every depth. Crevices and rocky ledges were home to an impressive number of lobsters—more than we could count—tucked away or cautiously venturing out. It’s always a great sign of a healthy environment when you see that kind of abundance.
Alongside the lobsters, the walls were covered in life, with colour and movement everywhere you looked. It’s this kind of dive that reminds you why UK diving is so special—rugged, wild, and full of surprises.
Back on shore, the post-dive buzz said it all. A fantastic couple of dives, great teamwork, and perfect weather to top it off. Not a bad way at all to spend a Bank Holiday.
